welcome to my blog. make sure to subscribe to stay up to date on new posts and special announcements!
i’m married to my favorite human charlie, mama to sawyer grace (2) + owen thomas (11 months) and pup mama to an excessively slobbery bloodhound named copper; who makes it impossible to keep my house clean. oh and we also have a fish named princess carmel.
first things first..i really dislike capital letters. i just think they look ugly. so when you’re reading my blog posts and don’t see any capital letters, don’t be alarmed. i know, i’m weird. okay now that we’ve gotten the important stuff out of the way.
i’m a nurse. i’m extremely passionate about whole body health and i love taking care of people. at the beginning of this summer i cut my hours down at work to spend more time at home with my kiddos and it’s proving to be the most rewarding + the most challenging experience at the same time.
i’m pretty basic + i spend most of my days convincing myself that i need to go to target again..usually after just being there earlier that morning. seriously though my whole family jokes that i should probably just buy stock in target.
my iced coffee addiction is real. i cannot function in the mornings until i have gotten my fix. i will drink it iced whether its 100 degrees or below zero. unless it’s fall (because give me all the pumpkin spice everything), i usually drink it black. again, weird i know.
i’m super awkward. i strongly considered getting a youtube channel at one point mostly for the family memories + ultimately decided i was way too awkward for the video camera. unless i’ve had a few glasses of wine, then i’m hilarious.
i don’t really have a filter. about anything. which sometimes gets me into trouble (okay a lot of the time) but it is definitely a bonus for you all. so if you’re looking for a raw and honest mom blog; you’ve definitely come to the right place.
i’m somewhere in between a crunchy mama and a mama who lets her infant eat dirt + toddler eat cookies for breakfast. no judgement here. we’re all just trying to survive until bed time.
now as my toddler frequently shouts at me “let’s do this.”
xoxo,
